That Royal family is not left anymore, so there is no one taking care of this temple. the temple from inside is in extreme dilapidated condition. It was heart breaking to see that. a part of floor has also caved in. Unfortunetly the security guard just didnt allow me to take any photographsHere is an Annapurna devi mandir which is said to be since the Mahabharat times. It is said that Pandavs came to this temple after the war to seek blessings for further direction in life. This temple is so old and hence part of this temple complex looks new with new walls, paint and floors and part of it is rock cut carving walls, like you see here.Here is a banyan tree in the middle of the temple complexAbove the garbhgriha roof of the same temple, a full grown banyan tree can be spotted that has grown on the temple roof This is a shivji temple that baby Swami Vivekanand used to frequent with his parents.
